Few modern day guitar players can compare to pure bluesy growling Texas sound of rock guitarist Johnny Winter.
Johnny started his career at the age of 14 playing in Texas clubs. He got a standing ovation from an all African American crowd when he managed to talk B.B. King into letting him on stage to play. This was at the age of 15.
A lot of people are not aware but Johnny came up with many of the innovative slide guitar techiques used today in rock guitar playing.
